 I could tell when the kiln cooled down enough to peep into that it was a good load.

Opening up the kiln feels a lot like Christmas. 

You never know exactly what you are going to get, just what you hope for.

It was a really good looking load of pottery.

 

 This was a three piece order for one customer.

They had one wedding every month for three months.

I'm so glad to they decided to gift each wedding couple with one of our

personalized wedding gifts .

I'm really excited to be showing some new work from our potters at our

Zotter The Potter Open House tomorrow.

Featured will be some great new pieces by Mike Rozzi.

You can see some on the bottom two shelves below.

He's got some really great "Foodie" pieces for the gourmet kitchen.

 

 

 

 He's also featuring work at the Artisan Cafe Friday too. If you can't make our Open House, please try to catch him on Friday there. As you can see, he's a real character and a wonderful potter.

Checking the cones inside the kiln for reduction check at 1800 degrees. You can't see it very well, but the flame is shooting out pretty far.

He likes to throw standing, which I guess is getting more and more popular...
